Q. What Canvas training and support opportunities are available?

A. Various learning opportunities for staff (tutors, lecturers, course administrators, librarians), self-help materials and types of support are available:

  • Telephone, email and chat support is available from the Canvas suppliers 24/7, 365 days a year. The University has purchased this additional service to support staff and students, so please use it as your first point of enquiry. Click the Help? icon on the global navigation bar in Canvas and select your preferred method of communication.
  • Hands-on Canvas courses offered by the digital education team in the Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) (booking is required):
  • Online guides and videos Links to an external site. – available from the Canvas suppliers
  • Customised videos for Oxford users – more information is provided on the page Videos about using Canvas and other digital tools at Oxford.
