Panopto integration
Q. Is Canvas integrated with Panopto (Replay lecture capture)?
A. Yes – Canvas works really well with Panopto. There is seamless integration with Panopto ‘behind the scenes’. That is, lectures can be recorded via the applicable Canvas course, from where students can access the recordings.

Q. Why do I get a sign-in error when trying to access Panopto from Canvas via my iPad?
A. Some users with older versions of the Safari web browser may have issues with cookies - see our Safari FAQ. Therefore, we recommend using the latest Google Chrome app Links to an external site. for iPad.
With both Safari and Chrome there is one extra step needed to access your Panopto files, which is the result of 'cross browser checking'. If you see the message ‘We were unable to sign you in because your browser is not accepting Cookies’ please click the ‘Click here to sign in’ link to re-authenticate and access your Panopto files.
Q. What is the best way to organise multiple Panopto recordings in a Canvas course (so that students may access those relevant to a particular week or topic)?
A. It is possible to create playlists in Panopto, containing multiple videos from various different folders. You can then embed the Panopto playlist in a Canvas page (for a particular week or topic), and incorporate other supporting information for students, if desired.

(It's not necessary to follow the 'share' parts of the above video, since you will do that in your Canvas course, for all the students enrolled therein.)
