H5P is a tool for creating interactive learning objects and activities that can be used for teaching a variety of subjects. H5P is integrated into Canvas via the text editor within a page.

Please contact canvas@it.ox.ac.uk to request one of the H5P licences available to Oxford authors.

How to use H5P via Canvas

In your Canvas course, access an existing page or create a new one by clicking on +Page in the Pages tool. Click Edit to edit the page.

In the editor ribbon, select the plugin icon:

If the H5P plugin is not visible, select 'View All', then select Interactive Content - H5P.

You can now create your interactive object within the page.

You may also access your content via https://oxford.h5p.com, if you find it easier to browse and create content in the H5P interface.
