Most of your teaching in the first year will take place in various venues across the university science area. You may have some classes and computing practicals in the Dorothy Crowfoot Hodgkin Building, home to the Dept. of Biochemistry. The main entrance is from Sherrington Road and is open Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm and Fri 8am-4pm. You can also access via the café entrance (which is open from 8.30am-4.00pm). Your university cards will give you access through the Reception barriers into the atrium on weekdays from 8am-6pm. Your cards will give you internal access, between these times, to reach venues such as the Biochemistry Teaching Centre, Seminar Room and the Broadbent Computing Lab.

Please ensure you are using your university card on an online SALTO card reader every 7 days, otherwise your card will believe itself lost and go into hibernation. In order to reactivate the card, simply tap it at least once a week on any of the external door readers.
