Student representatives and the JCC

Student Representatives

Student representatives are elected each year by the students. They represent students on the termly meetings of the Joint Consultative Committee (JCC), the two Departmental course committees (Steering Committee and Teaching Committee) and the Medical Sciences Division (MSD) Undergraduate Student Forum. One representative is also able to attend the MSD Undergraduate Studies Committee.

Student representatives sitting on the Divisional Board are selected through a process organised by the Oxford University Student Union (Oxford SU). Details can be found on the Oxford SU website Links to an external site. along with information about student representation at the University level.

Joint Consultative Committee

The Joint Consultative Committee usually meets twice a term and discusses anything to do with undergraduate teaching. If any student would like something added to the agenda, please contact your year rep.
